Matt Brown (Owner)
Matt Brown brings a wealth of baseball experience to The Cage. He has been involved in college and professional baseball for the last 25 years as either a player, coach or agent. Matt played at the junior college level at the College of San Mateo and then went on to play at the Division 1 level at San Jose State University. He was then drafted by the Minnesota Twins. Matt played professionally for 6 years for the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox organizations. After his playing career ended, Matt started representing Major League Baseball players and currently owns his own baseball agency: Pro Prospects, Inc |
| Tom Paroubeck (Instructor) |
| Tom has been involved in the Bay Area baseball scene for many years. After he finished playing at Canada College, Tom began coaching youth baseball. Through the years, he has coached many players who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of the game. Tom has also had the unique experience of guiding his own son through the high school years, Division I recruiting process and the Major League Baseball draft. Tom brings his knowledge, experience and passion to each one of his lessons at the Cage. |
| Kevin Jordan (Instructor) |
| Kevin comes to the Cage after a 16 year professional playing career. KJ grew up in San Francisco and signed with the New York Yankees out of the University of Nebraska. He was later traded to the Philadelphia Phillies where he played for seven years in the major leagues. Upon retiring, KJ went on to coach professionally in the Phillies’ organization where he worked with many current and former major league players. We are fortunate to have KJ’s wealth of professional experience working with our athletes at the Cage. |
